Last night, eating pizza, Diane and Jill announced they had recently learned where the "Mother Lode" of shells were and they were leaving at 6:55 am to get there before others did. At the promise of some really nice and unique shells being found....I said I'd go too. Oh dear God...I sat my alarm for 6:15am (I was sure it was still dark at that time). My alarm went off but I didn't hear it until 6:30. I jumped out of bed, got dressed, put on a hat over by bed head hair and met the girls to head to the beach. We found the parking area that had been described to Jill and we headed for the beach.(BTW, it is light at that time :-) WOW...the stash of shells on the beach was unlike anything I'd ever seen before. Piles and piles and miles and miles. I found some really unique shells that I'd never seen before and I met a lady who had been out earlier and she gave me some really NICE shells she had a ton and she just gathered them to give away. Yay for me!!
We got back to the RV Park in time for coffee and donuts at 8:30 in the clubhouse. I needed the coffee for sure!! We passed Roger, leaving the park as we were going in. He went Christmas Shopping :-)
Tonight we watched the George C Scott Christmas Carol.
