| Leaving Arrow Storage on 11/1/2017 |
Months of planning, buying, mods to trailer, & dreaming is coming to fruition today. Had a hard time falling asleep last night...it was like Christmas Eve!
We pulled out of Arrow Storage at 9:28 AM and headed South on I-96 to US-127 to I-94 to I-69 to I-65 on our way to our first planned stop at Timber Ridge RV Park in Anderson, IN. It was a family owned RV park. Seemed to be a lot of seasonal residents. We had a nice pull-thru site. Neighbors had a large Class A. They were from Canada and on their way to Apache Junction, AZ. The drive down was, thankfully, uneventful and I did my fair share of driving...yea me!!
We arrived in Anderson, IN around 3:30 (ish). Got set up just before the cold rain started. Made sandwiches with chips for dinner. (Note to self: Buy groceries!!)
It rained ALL night but we woke up to dry conditions and much warmer temps...but still cloudy. After some coffee and blueberry muffins we were on the road again. Didn't unhitch truck and trailer last night, so getting ready to leave was pretty easy.
