THE BLUE ANGELS

We left around 8:30 AM for NAS Pensacola to watch the Homecoming Show of The Blue Angels.  This is a show done at the end of their year tour to thank the community and their families for their support and to honor all Military, past and present.  We thought that because it was a Friday, a work day, it wouldn't be so crowded but  we were wrong.  There were THOUSANDS of people there.  We enjoyed all the aviation acts prior to the Blue Angels.  At 1:30 the pageantry of the pilots going to their planes began.  We've seen this probably a half dozen times, but it never gets old.

Their show was awesome...as usual.  It never ceases to amaze me what they do with such precision. The roar of their engines just gives me goosebumps.

Back at the park, we discovered we have new neighbors.  We went over to Jerry and Roni's trailer to discuss plans for the fishing trip tomorrow.

Friday nights here are Ice Cream Social night followed by game night.  We had our sundaes and then stayed to play "Left, Right, Center" with quarters.  We played 2 games and came home $4.00 poorer!!

Everyone is so friendly at this park.  I think we're going to like it here for the next 2 months.
